Principal Disciplinary Engineering and Science – Geoscience and Petroleum

About the role

Join a world‑class oilfield services leader as a Principal Disciplinary Engineering and Science professional, driving integrated subsurface evaluations and strategic asset assessments for upstream oil and gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute multidisciplinary subsurface studies using geophysical, geological, petrophysical, reservoir and production data.
• Interpret seismic, well and field performance data to quantify hydrocarbon potential and asset value.
• Provide technical oversight for exploration, appraisal, development and producing assets, ensuring compliance with industry reporting standards.
• Conduct technical due‑diligence for M&A, farm‑ins/farm‑outs, financing and divestments, evaluating reserves, forecasts and subsurface risks.
• Prepare independent technical assessments and recommendations for investors, operators and regulators.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, developing execution plans, risk registers and stakeholder communication strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of geophysicists, geologists, reservoir and production engineers, and economists.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in geophysics, asset evaluation and technical due‑diligence within the oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong technical judgment combined with solid business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
