Principal/ Distinguished Deployment Strategist

About the role

Salesforce is looking for a Principal/Distinguished Deployment Strategist to lead end‑to‑end AI‑enabled deployments for enterprise customers. You will act as the primary customer‑facing advisor, shaping AI strategy, overseeing delivery, and ensuring measurable adoption and value.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of customer engagements – from discovery through deployment and consumption – and drive outcomes at each stage.
• Define Agentic AI strategy and roadmap, lead design workshops, and architect solutions across Salesforce’s AI platform, Data Cloud, and enterprise systems.
• Manage program timelines, stakeholder communication, risk escalation, and progress reporting as the operational backbone of the delivery team.
• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to align strategy with technical execution and keep delivery milestones on track.
• Assess AI readiness, guide change management, and own adoption, consumption, and expansion metrics.

Required profile

• 4+ years (6‑10 years for senior level) experience in strategic solutioning, technical advisory, or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud/SaaS.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven customer‑facing delivery experience in consulting or professional services.
• Strong project and programme management skills, ability to run multiple workstreams in ambiguous environments.
• Business‑level proficiency in Italian and English.
