Principal Engineering Manager – AI & LLM Projects

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Principal Engineering Manager to lead cutting‑edge AI squads for an industry‑leading artificial‑intelligence company. Based onsite in Abu Dhabi, you will work with world‑class tools and technologies to deliver secure enterprise applications that bridge advanced research and real‑world impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of front‑end, back‑end, and machine‑learning engineers.
• Define and implement best practices for AI model development, deployment, and ethical use.
• Contribute to the company’s AI strategy and roadmap.
• Drive technical discussions with customers and translate complex concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with the latest research, trends, and innovations in AI.

Required profile

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering.
• 2+ years in a leadership or people‑management role.
• Deep expertise in natural‑language processing, deep learning, and transformer‑based models.
• Track record of publications or patents is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong Python programming.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands‑on work with transformer and large language model architectures.
• Large‑scale distributed computing and ML infrastructure.
• Natural‑language processing and deep‑learning techniques.
