Principal Solutions Architect - AI & Immersive Extended Reality

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Immersive Extended Reality (IXR) platforms across its global operations. You will shape secure, scalable, multi‑cloud solutions that drive digital transformation for the world’s largest airline.

Key responsibilities

• Define enterprise standards, reference architectures, and road‑maps for AI gateways, foundation models, LLMs, RAG, autonomous agents, AR/VR/XR experiences and Digital Twins.
• Design and deliver secure, multi‑cloud solutions that meet compliance, privacy and operational‑excellence requirements.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, security, data and AI‑governance teams to translate business goals into technology solutions.
• Lead architectural governance for strategic programmes and ensure alignment with technology providers such as AWS and Microsoft.
• Champion innovation by evaluating emerging AI and immersive technologies and integrating them into Emirates’ digital ecosystem.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, preferably in large, complex organisations.
• Proven track record delivering AI‑driven and immersive technology solutions at scale.
• Strong understanding of multi‑cloud environments, security, and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders across business and technical domains.
