Principal Solutions Architect - AI & Immersive Extended Reality

About the role

Emirates Group is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead the enterprise strategy, architecture, and governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent eXtended Reality (IXR) platforms. You will shape secure, scalable, multi‑cloud solutions that drive digital transformation across the airline’s global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern corporate AI and IXR standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
• Design and deliver secure, multi‑cloud solutions for AI gateways, foundation models, LLMs, RAG architectures, autonomous agents, AR/VR/XR experiences, Digital Twins, and immersive technologies.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, security, data, and AI‑governance stakeholders to ensure compliance, privacy, and operational excellence.
• Lead architectural guidance for strategic programmes and drive AI‑enabled digital transformation initiatives.
• Build and maintain partnerships with technology providers such as AWS and Microsoft to maximise platform adoption and business value.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, preferably in large, complex organisations.
• Proven track record delivering AI and immersive technology solutions at scale.
• Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior business and technical leaders.
