Private Banking Services Specialist

About the role

Emirates NBD, a leading financial services brand in the UAE with a presence in 13 countries, is hiring a Specialist in Private Banking Services in Dubai. The role supports Relationship Managers and client services within Private Banking, handling client requests on basic banking products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Support 1-2 Relationship Managers in the day-to-day management of client relationships
• Manage client accounts and process basic banking transactions such as transfers, cheque clearing, cash transactions, and opening, closing and renewal of fixed deposits
• Coordinate with Operations, Credit, Compliance, Legal and other departments to support Relationship Managers in executing client instructions
• Apply appropriate checks and controls in line with bank policy under the Lead's supervision
• Communicate directly with clients on operational matters and call-back confirmations, ensuring confidentiality
• Prepare basic documentation (e.g. IOSIR, compliance, account opening forms) and keep client records
• Ensure accurate information in client documentation before submission to operations, and assist senior team members
• Handle service requests, raise them to other departments and follow up on progress
• Place trade orders on Moxy for buying and selling investment instruments and coordinate with investment advisors on investment transactions
• Assist with annual reviews, collecting documents and following up on completion, and send transaction copies for archival

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in banking or the financial industry
• Experience in the framework and business etiquette of MENA markets

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of basic banking products and services and their operational processes
• Good understanding of compliance, due diligence and anti-money laundering acts, and standard banking procedures
