Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer will drive continuous improvement across assigned machines, using technical expertise, analytical tools and cross‑functional collaboration. The role focuses on optimizing equipment performance, material utilization and product quality while supporting plant‑wide process control strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Continuous Process Improvement Program for assigned machines.
• Design and execute the plant’s Process Control Strategy in coordination with the Technical Manager.
• Lead quality improvement activities with production, QA and technical support teams.
• Act as liaison with Head Office for machine modifications, rebuilds, product upgrades and capital projects.
• Enforce high standards during machine trials, tests, documentation and technical problem solving.
• Identify training needs and deliver technical training to team leaders and operators.
• Maintain comprehensive process control documentation for each line.
• Analyze machine efficiency trends, root‑cause downtimes and coordinate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with material suppliers to optimise material runnability.
• Participate in daily operations meetings, providing leadership in problem‑solving and performance discussions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering or related manufacturing roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data‑driven methods for improvement.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate technical concepts.

• Proficiency in MS Office
• AM/PM methodologies within the IWS framework

• Application of 7 QC tools and advanced problem‑solving techniques
