Process Engineer – Oil & Gas (ETO)

About the role

The ETO Process Engineer will work with customers to interpret technical specifications and design oil‑and‑gas field equipment or technologies. The role involves delivering complete project solutions from concept through to on‑site start‑up, ensuring proposals meet client requirements and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse customer inquiries and technical specifications to determine optimal process or equipment designs.
• Design and size equipment or technologies, producing detailed engineering, drafting and cost‑estimating deliverables.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, defining scope, performance, warranty and delivery terms.
• Perform complex process simulations using company‑specified software.
• Lead the creation of project deliverables, ensure compliance with purchase orders, and conduct peer reviews of designs and cost estimates.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting, on‑site start‑up and field development planning.
• Support multi‑disciplinary services and interface with clients during field development planning.
• Maintain and develop personal competency through training and experience.
