Procurement Data & Catalogue Specialist (Excel Power User)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Procurement Data & Catalogue Specialist who loves turning messy supplier data into clean, upload‑ready catalogues. The role supports a leading food‑and‑beverage distributor in Dubai, building and maintaining item master data in Oracle Fusion. You will work Monday to Friday on‑site, delivering high‑quality data that supports the procurement team’s operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Build, cleanse and maintain procurement catalogues and item master data (descriptions, categories, UOMs, pricing, attributes).
• Use Excel to identify duplicates, gaps and inconsistencies before data reaches the system.
• Transform supplier price lists of any format into upload‑ready templates.
• Reconcile catalogue pricing against contracts, BPAs and pricing schedules.
• Prepare bulk uploads and validation reports for Oracle Fusion/SSP.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to fill data gaps and keep catalogues up‑to‑date.
• Set up repeatable checks and trackers to accelerate future updates.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with catalogue or master data in Oracle Fusion Procurement and/or SAP Ariba.
• Good understanding of Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes and category/taxonomy structures.
• Experience with hosted and punch‑out catalogues is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, IT or a related field.
• Valid UAE residence visa, NOC and medical insurance.

• Advanced Excel: XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, text functions (TRIM, CLEAN, LEFT, MID, TEXTSPLIT).
• Power Query, dynamic arrays (FILTER, UNIQUE, SORT), COUNTIFS, SUMIFS.
• Macros/VBA, Power Pivot (bonus).
• Oracle Fusion Procurement and SAP Ariba.
