Procurement Engineer - MEP/Construction

About the role
Careers International is looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer with 3-4 years of UAE experience in the MEP/Construction industry. The position is full time, based in the UAE, with pay according to relevant experience.
Key responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for MEP and construction materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate and prepare purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project, engineering and site teams for timely material delivery.
- Monitor procurement schedules to avoid project delays.
- Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, company policies and UAE regulations.
- Track material deliveries and resolve procurement-related issues.
Required profile
- 3-4 years of UAE experience in MEP/Construction procurement.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project deadlines.
