Procurement & Logistics Executive

About the role

As the Procurement & Logistics Executive at Nordic Homeworx, you will ensure efficient procurement, import, storage and distribution of flooring materials for residential and commercial projects in the UAE, working closely with sales, projects and warehouse teams to support customer commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of wood flooring and related products, negotiate pricing, lead times and terms while maintaining commercial favourability.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including sea, air and road freight, and ensure accurate import/export documentation.
• Provide strategic support to the Sales team on stock availability, supplier lead times and alternative product solutions.
• Forecast material requirements, translate forecasts into purchasing and stock plans, and monitor inventory levels.
• Lead strategic projects to improve procurement, logistics and supply‑chain performance, and produce regular reports on supplier performance and logistics costs.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum three years’ experience in procurement, logistics or supply‑chain management, preferably within construction, interiors or fit‑out sectors.
• Proven experience managing international shipments, supplier relationships and demand forecasting.
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import/export procedures and freight documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience using ERP, purchasing or warehouse‑management systems.
