Procurement Manager – Emirati Talent (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Procurement Manager will develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure timely, cost‑effective and compliant acquisition of goods and services for LAHAB, EDGE Group’s military‑grade munitions manufacturer in Abu Dhabi. The role leads supplier sourcing, contract negotiations and procurement operations, supporting the UAE’s sovereign defence readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement process from sourcing to contract award and supplier performance.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard qualified suppliers and contractors.
• Lead contract negotiations to achieve optimal cost, quality, delivery and risk outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supply risks to support informed decisions.
• Control procurement budgets and drive cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 5–10 years of progressive procurement or supply‑chain experience in manufacturing, construction, oil & gas or regulated industries.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM or PMP.
• Proven track record in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation and vendor management.
