Procurement Manager

About the role

As Procurement Manager at AI71, you will build and lead the company’s procurement function, overseeing sourcing, purchasing, vendor management and contract negotiations. You will work closely with finance, legal and product teams to ensure cost‑effective, compliant processes that support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an agile procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring flexibility.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, maintaining compliance with policies and risk standards.
• Control inventory levels, prevent stock issues and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Automate and streamline procurement workflows to improve efficiency.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to inform sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with finance, legal and operations to align procurement activities with overall business needs.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis on procurement metrics, cost savings and supplier performance.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing procurement team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• 6+ years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of vendor management, contract negotiation and budget control.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with procurement software.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
