Procurement Manager - Mobile Phones

About the role

An electronics wholesale company based in Dubai is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to source mobile phones in bulk. The role involves building supplier networks, negotiating commercial terms and keeping a steady supply of devices to support the company's sales and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing mobile phones in bulk from manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and other suppliers
• Developing and maintaining a supplier network, especially across Asia and other key sourcing markets
• Monitoring market trends, pricing, availability and new launches to find buying opportunities
• Negotiating price, payment terms, margins and delivery conditions
• Ensuring the quality, authenticity and condition of devices, including new and refurbished stock
• Keeping stock available to meet business demand and working with sales and commercial teams
• Managing purchase orders, supplier agreements, delivery schedules and procurement documentation
• Improving procurement processes to reduce costs and increase profitability

Required profile

• Proven experience in mobile phone procurement, ideally in wholesale, bulk trading, distribution or consumer electronics
• Established network of mobile phone suppliers, distributors and wholesalers, particularly across Asia
• Experience sourcing mobile devices in bulk and negotiating commercial terms
• Strong negotiation, relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment and adapt quickly to changes in supply and demand

Required skills

• Knowledge of the mobile phone market, including major brands, models, pricing and trends
• Understanding of international sourcing, supplier management and cross-border purchasing
• Analytical skills to assess market pricing and supplier offers
