Procurement Manager – Upstream Oil & Gas

About the role

Join a newly established procurement hub in Dubai for a leading upstream oil field services organisation. The role will lead end‑to‑end procurement for either Subsurface (drilling and well services) or Surface/Infrastructure (projects and facilities) categories, shaping policies and supplier strategies across a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the full procurement cycle – from RFQs and RFPs to contract negotiation and execution – for the assigned category.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships across Africa, the UAE, Europe, Asia and the United States.
• Support the creation of procurement policies, category strategies and vendor frameworks.
• Oversee purchase order lifecycle and coordinate cross‑border logistics and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations and finance teams to align sourcing with business needs.

Required profile

• 8‑17 years of procurement experience in upstream oil & gas or oilfield services.
• Deep expertise in either Subsurface or Surface/Infrastructure category procurement.
• Proven track record negotiating contracts and managing suppliers, including OFSE or EPC contractors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, build‑phase environment.
