Procurement Officer – Cabin & IFE Operations (Emiratisation)

About the role

The Material Management Department of Emirates Engineering seeks a Procurement Officer to support the acquisition of aircraft spares, Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE), tools, consumables, and retrofit materials for cabin and IFE operations. The role is essential for maintaining aircraft dispatch reliability through timely, cost‑effective purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Source, purchase and arrange borrowing of assigned aircraft materials in line with procurement policies and engineering procedures.
• Monitor overdue orders, backlogs and vendor performance; identify corrective actions to meet supply‑chain KPIs.
• Conduct price and lead‑time reviews with the Contracts Management Unit and challenge deviations.
• Manage invoice and stores discrepancies, coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Analyse supply‑chain data, prepare reports and recommend improvements for cost control and efficiency.
• Participate in testing, training and implementation of purchasing system enhancements.
• Prepare and execute RFQs, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercial terms and issue purchase orders within authorized limits.
• Process engineering‑related service orders and coordinate invoice payments.

Required profile

• Ability to support 24/7 critical/AOG requirements.
• Familiarity with Emirates engineering procedures, authority manuals and procurement policies.
• Strong coordination skills with internal teams and external vendors.
