Procurement Officer – Cabin & IFE Operations (Emiratisation)

About the role

The Material Management Department is looking for a Procurement Officer to support cabin and in‑flight entertainment (IFE) operations. You will source, purchase and arrange borrowing of aircraft spares, buyer‑furnished equipment (BFE) and retrofit materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Source, purchase and manage borrowing of assigned aircraft materials in line with Emirates procurement policies and engineering procedures.
• Monitor overdue orders, backlogs and vendor performance, taking corrective actions to meet KPIs.
• Conduct price and lead‑time reviews with the Contracts Management Unit and challenge deviations.
• Resolve invoice and store discrepancies through coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Prepare supply‑chain reports with recommendations for cost control and operational efficiency.
• Execute RFQs, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercial terms and place purchase orders within approved authority limits.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours qualification (12+3 or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering planning, supply chain, materials management or procurement (2.5 years may be considered).
• Experience in warehouse & logistics, repair management, material planning, inventory control or technical purchasing, preferably in an airline or MRO environment.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities and the capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
