Procurement Specialist – Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and negotiation‑driven Procurement Specialist to own end‑to‑end procurement workflows, strategic sourcing activities, and vendor performance management. You will partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Legal teams to drive cost‑saving initiatives while ensuring high‑quality goods and services are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned spend categories.
• Monitor market pricing trends, perform spend analysis and total cost of ownership modeling.
• Manage key vendor relationships, track delivery performance and resolve commercial disputes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, anti‑bribery policies and sustainable sourcing standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement or a related field.
• Professional procurement certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, CSCP) preferred.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, category management and commercial negotiation.
• Strong analytical aptitude with a track record of delivering cost efficiencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP and procure‑to‑pay platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Coupa, Jaggaer or Ariba.
• Spend analysis, price variance tracking and market benchmarking.
• Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling.
