Procurement Supervisor – Plant Operations

About the role

The Procurement Supervisor will be a key member of the plant’s procurement department, supporting daily operations and ensuring safe, compliant, and cost‑effective sourcing of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, conduct risk assessments, and ensure use of PPE on‑site.
• Monitor environmental compliance and report any incidents.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and represent the company professionally with external partners.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with operational goals.
• Lead sourcing, negotiation, supplier evaluation, tendering, contract management and purchase order approvals.
• Maintain relationships with local and international suppliers to guarantee timely delivery.
• Drive cost‑saving projects through strategic sourcing and value engineering.
• Track procurement budgets, KPIs and generate reports using Power BI dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, MCS requirements and SAP procedures.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Experience in vendor pre‑qualification, performance evaluation and supplier development.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Finance and Projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on risk identification and mitigation.
