Product Designer (Junior to Mid-Level)

About the role

A creative, user-focused and detail-oriented Product Designer is sought for a full-time position at junior to mid-level. The designer works with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to turn complex ideas into intuitive, visually appealing digital products, improving user experience and meeting business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually engaging digital products for web and mobile
• Conduct user research, competitor and market research
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups
• Develop and maintain design systems, reusable components and visual guidelines
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout the product lifecycle
• Run usability testing, analyze user behavior and feedback, and iterate designs
• Ensure consistent typography, colour, layout and iconography, and responsive, mobile-first designs
• Work with developers so design specifications are implemented accurately
• Take part in brainstorming, design reviews and product planning

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer or similar; a strong portfolio is required
• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI or a related field preferred
• Experience with SaaS platforms, mobile apps or websites is an advantage
• Ability to manage several projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar design tools
• User experience, UI, interaction and visual design principles
• Wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups and responsive design
• Usability testing and user research methods
• Advantage: design systems, accessibility standards, handoff processes, HTML/CSS basics, Agile teams
