About the role

Product Manager – P220i Engine Programme. Single‑threaded owner of the P200+ class (P220i, ≈220 HP, MALE‑class heavy‑fuel engine) – Powertech’s highest‑value, partnership‑driven product.

Key responsibilities

• Act as final technical and commercial decision‑maker for the P220i across its full lifecycle.
• Own product roadmap, configuration baseline, requirements and change control.
• Manage the Italy‑based development and manufacturing partnership, directing technical milestones and commercial terms.
• Drive build, assembly and industrialisation of the engine at the Italy facility.
• Define engine requirements and interface control for MALE‑class integration.
• Lead architecture decisions for heavy‑fuel engine, EFI/ECU, redundancy and installation envelope.
• Own master schedule, risk register and gate‑milestone delivery from concept to first build.
• Develop test and qualification strategy, approve test plans and sign‑off data.
• Serve as primary technical and commercial contact for MALE‑class customers, leading RFQs and negotiations.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive or Propulsion Engineering (Master’s desirable).
• 8+ years experience in engine/power‑train development or propulsion programme management with leadership responsibility.
• Proven end‑to‑end ownership of a complex engine or power‑train product through development, qualification and delivery.
• Experience managing cross‑border development or manufacturing partnerships or joint ventures.
• Strong commercial acumen for high‑value, capital‑intensive products.
