About the role
Abbott is seeking a Product Specialist to join its Established Pharmaceutical division in Dubai. The role focuses on driving sales growth and achieving targets for Abbott's branded generic medicines across multiple therapeutic areas.
Key responsibilities
- Organize appointments and meetings with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Address both business and scientific needs of HCPs.
- Demonstrate and present Abbott EPD products to HCPs.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers.
- Plan and schedule weekly and monthly activities with clear KPIs.
- Manage an assigned geographic area and meet the sales performance plan.
- Provide consistent market feedback.
Required profile
- Educational qualification in pharmaceutical or medical science.
- 4‑6 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in the UAE market.
- Tender Management experience is required.
- Primary care therapeutic segment experience preferred.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
