Production Assistant

About the role

The Production Assistant provides hands‑on support to machine operators and supervisors to keep daily production flowing smoothly. The role focuses on material handling, basic machine assistance, safety, housekeeping, and accurate record‑keeping to boost operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist operators during equipment setup, start‑up, operation, and shutdown, and perform basic adjustments under supervision.
• Monitor machines to ensure continuous production and promptly report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
• Supply raw materials, load/unload pallets, and verify quantities to maintain steady workflow and prevent downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S and safety standards, cleaning machines and workstations during changeovers.
• Support documentation by recording output counts, material batch details, and machine downtime, and communicate issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly‑line environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manual or automated tools.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality and safety, and ability to follow SOPs.
• Physically fit to handle materials and equipment safely.
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
