Production Engineer (PMAS)

About the role

ADNOC Onshore is hiring a Production Engineer (PMAS) in Abu Dhabi. The role manages and controls the production-process discipline aspects of all major works at sites, from conception through implementation and handover to operations, ensuring design and execution follow industry and company standards, practices and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major works from initiation to closeout, delivering scope, goals and deliverables in line with company objectives and procedures.
• Take part in reviews of layouts, control schemes, specifications, O&M studies, plot plans and 3D models, and interface with engineering disciplines.
• Resolve technical and execution issues affecting major works plans, implementation and site operations.
• Review engineering packages such as scopes of work, data sheets, schedules, load lists, technical proposals, estimates, and startup and commissioning procedures.
• Manage site execution in production and process discipline, supporting safe operations to meet production and injection targets.
• Identify interface problems between ongoing major works, existing plant and subsystems and recommend solutions to minimise scope changes affecting cost and schedule.
• Participate in site surveys, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and decommissioning, and advise plant operations on design issues.
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (PID) and Utility Flow Diagrams (UFD), cause-and-effect tables, equipment sizing and line-sizing calculations.
• Review technical proposals and estimates for studies and major works handled by external consultants or contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 6 years of experience.
