Production Manager

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Production Manager with strong experience in interior fit‑out and joinery manufacturing. The successful candidate will oversee end‑to‑end production processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess project requirements, conduct site measurements, and plan resource allocation.
• Prepare project cost estimates and issue job orders for production.
• Manage procurement of raw materials and ensure cost‑effective purchasing.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production costs and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure all production outputs meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Plan and organise workflow in line with project timelines and delivery schedules.
• Supervise production teams including foremen, labourers, and drivers, and evaluate performance.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of tools and raw materials.
• Manage production planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple projects.
• Develop and implement production policies and procedures aligned with management objectives.
• Enforce total quality management of processes and finished products.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective solutions.
• Enforce housekeeping and safety standards to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
• Monitor stock levels in coordination with accounts and administration teams.
• Implement waste‑reduction initiatives and promote a zero‑waste culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in a similar role within the interior fit‑out / joinery industry.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, cost control, and materials management.
• Experience supervising workshop and site production teams.
• Solid understanding of quality standards and fit‑out processes.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and organisational abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).
