Production Manager – LV Switchgear Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead LV switchgear manufacturing operations at our Abu Dhabi facility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production activities to meet targets and delivery schedules.
• Lead Production Engineers, Supervisors, Electricians, Busbar Fitters and Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, customer specifications, IEC standards and quality requirements.
• Monitor productivity, material utilization, rework, wastage and production costs.
• Coordinate with Design, Planning, Procurement, Stores, Projects and Logistics teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports and monitor KPIs.
• Enforce strict HSE policies and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years of experience in LV switchgear/electrical panel manufacturing.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven knowledge of MDB, SMDB, MCC, PCC, ATS, Capacitor Banks, DBs, Synchronization and Control Panels.
• Strong understanding of IEC standards and electrical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
