Production Section Manager

About the role

The Production Section Manager is responsible for overseeing daily production activities to ensure manufacturing plans are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within cost targets. This role coordinates manpower, materials, equipment and priorities to achieve required output and delivery performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations in line with approved plans, allocating work, manpower and equipment across activities.
• Monitor production progress, output, productivity and resource utilization; address delays, bottlenecks and operational issues.
• Review processes to identify and implement improvements that reduce waste, rework, downtime and operational losses.
• Lead and supervise the production team, providing coaching, performance monitoring and identifying training needs.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance and Quality to ensure material availability and equipment readiness.
• Maintain accurate production records, report progress, delays and key performance indicators to management.
• Drive continuous improvement, promote accountability, teamwork and adherence to quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in production management within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop and manage high‑performing teams.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑anticipation and business‑planning skills.
• Experience in budget control, organizational development and quality management.
