Production Support Engineer L1 L2 L3

About the role

The Production Support Engineer will provide L1, L2 and L3 support for business‑critical banking applications hosted on both on‑premise and cloud environments. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, Windows Server, cloud platforms and APIs to ensure high availability and rapid incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L1/L2/L3 production support for banking applications.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Support workloads on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Investigate and resolve API failures, connectivity issues and integration errors.
• Execute SQL queries and perform database‑level troubleshooting.
• Manage incidents following ITIL processes, including escalation and root‑cause analysis.
• Monitor production systems to maintain service availability and stability.

Required profile

• 4–10 years of production/application support experience, preferably in the banking domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Practical exposure to AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident management practices.
