Project Controls Specialist

About the role

The Specialist – Programs and Project Control will support programme and project control activities for real‑estate development projects, ensuring accurate planning, scheduling, cost tracking and performance reporting. The role provides timely information to enable effective project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of programme and project control processes and reporting requirements.
• Develop, update and maintain project schedules, programmes, milestones and performance baselines.
• Monitor progress against approved schedules, budgets and key performance indicators, identifying variances and potential impacts.
• Review consultant and contractor programmes, progress reports and forecasts.
• Assist with cost monitoring, budget tracking, commitments, expenditure and forecasting.
• Prepare and update dashboards, progress reports, performance metrics and management presentations.
• Maintain change registers, risk and issue logs, and support risk‑impact analysis.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Commercial, Contracts, Risk, Procurement and Technical teams to gather required data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in programme or project controls, preferably in real‑estate or construction.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PMI‑SP, AACE or equivalent is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control and performance measurement.
• Ability to analyse schedule and cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Proficiency in preparing project dashboards and management reports.
