Project Director – Healthcare Projects

About the role

The Project Director will lead and manage complex healthcare projects for a multinational consulting firm in Abu Dhabi. Reporting directly to the Vice Chairman, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope and budget while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor large‑scale healthcare projects, developing comprehensive timelines, budgets and resource plans.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams, delegate tasks, mentor members and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate activities across departments, vendors and external partners to maintain project alignment.
• Create and manage project budgets, track expenditures and adjust allocations as needed.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure project quality meets company and client standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships, provide regular status updates and address any conflicts.
• Prepare detailed project reports and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in healthcare, laboratory or complex technical projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
