Project Engineer

About the role

Gardinia Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join its fast‑growing team in Dubai. You will be responsible for coordinating all on‑site activities, ensuring that high‑rise projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and cooperate with consultants, Dubai Municipality, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project milestones.
• Complete all online site transactions on the Dubai Building Permits System (BPS) and Dubai Municipality portal.
• Study drawings, specifications, and quality plans to extract data for material requisitions and execution.
• Prepare sketches and illustration drawings for foremen.
• Lead the site team, solve on‑site problems, and ensure compliance with schedules and specifications.
• Inspect work, hand over to consultants and municipality, and prepare status reports.
• Monitor daily works against QA/QC policies and standards.
• Develop short‑term detailed schedules for critical or delayed activities.
• Attend kickoff and vendor meetings, and align engineering and procurement schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in building science, civil engineering or a related field.
• 8–15 years of experience on high‑rise construction projects.
