Project Engineering Manager

About the role

ADNOC is seeking a seasoned Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities for assigned projects. The role ensures timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project engineering team through all phases, coordinating with internal divisions and external partners.
• Contribute to tender development, pre‑qualification and bid evaluation of consultants, PMC and contractors.
• Develop detailed statements of requirements and implementation strategies for each project phase.
• Review contractor documentation, mediate conflicts, and ensure alignment with project scope.
• Monitor progress of licensors, engineering and EPC contractors, identifying bottlenecks and recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Team, end‑users and contractors to maintain project momentum.
• Ensure best‑in‑class industry practices, technology selection and cost‑effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures, guaranteeing HSE and quality compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing engineering teams on large‑scale projects.
• Hands‑on involvement in tender preparation, contractor pre‑qualification and bid evaluation.
• Strong understanding of project documentation review and conflict resolution.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
