Project Execution Manager

About the role

Hilti is looking for a Project Execution Manager (PEM) to own the execution of complex projects, from engineering to delivery. The PEM is the main counterpart to the Construction Project Manager (CPM) in the Project Management Office (PMO), covering Engineering, Bid & Proposal and Contracting (non-commercial part), and Fulfillment (Prefab, MM and Specials) for large projects. The role ensures a high-quality customer experience by linking engineering solutions with fulfillment implications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution (Engineering to Fulfillment) against agreed scope, schedule, quality, cost and customer commitments.
• Serve as the primary execution interface with customers, setting up execution plans with timelines, milestones, deliverables, governance and resource requirements.
• Track project health, run regular status review meetings with internal stakeholders and customers, resolve risks and issues promptly.
• Plan resources across Engineering, Modeling, Fulfillment and Prefabrication and balance workloads.
• Manage changes, track their impact on schedule and costs, and document them clearly to support customer invoicing.
• Propose supply chain concepts and solutions, including material forecasting, production schedules, transportation lead times and prefabrication capacity.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned, and lead project closure, documentation archiving, customer handover and lessons learned reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical engineering; a Master's degree in engineering or an MBA is preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in engineering, construction project management or a related technical field.
• In-depth understanding of Engineering Services, BIM management, Bid Management and Contract Logistics.
• Proven track record and strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex situations simply.
• Able to travel to the country where projects are located (domestic and international).
• Preferred: PMP, PMI, Prince II or equivalent certification, Lean Management experience, and understanding of Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
