Project Interface Coordinator – Technical Projects

About the role

The Project Interface Coordinator supports the Major Projects Division by managing the hand‑over of technical documentation and related IT systems, ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, external vendors, and government authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Major Projects Group websites and assist in creating booklets, presentations and media publications.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, press releases and follow‑up actions for quarterly management meetings.
• Coordinate management meetings, develop procedures and generate progress reports.
• Participate in business‑process automation and act as focal point for processing Letters of Assistance.
• Support the hand‑over of technical documentation and IT systems (SmartPlant, LiveLink), including training, acceptance testing and punch‑list resolution.
• Advise the Project Management Team on interfacing requirements for SmartPlant and LiveLink.
• Liaise with government bodies, local authorities and suppliers to obtain No‑Objection Certificates.
• Facilitate vendor mobilization of service engineers during commissioning and warranty phases.
• Coordinate cargo shipment schedules and other logistics activities.
• Organise project events, seminars and workshops and track resulting action plans.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including project coordination and interface support.
• Professional certifications as applicable.
