Project Management Manager – Defense PMO

About the role

The PMO Project Manager will lead strategic initiatives within Edge’s Directed Energy portfolio, ensuring projects follow standardized governance, tools, and align with long‑term corporate goals. You will manage the full project lifecycle from charter to closure while coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project controls, track KPIs, and monitor schedule variance and quality.
• Ensure vendor agreements, SLAs, and SOWs align with project goals, risk limits, and budgets.
• Monitor vendor performance, manage contract scope changes, and prepare progress reports for steering committees.
• Manage individual project budgets, forecast costs, and calculate monetary risks.
• Lead scheduling, planning, and acceptance activities for Factory/Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and related tests.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years in the defence industry with experience in agile or hybrid development cycles.
• 5+ years hands‑on project management, preferably within a corporate PMO.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or a technical field; PMP or INCOSE CSEP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of system installation and deep understanding of defence system design, development, and integration.
