Project Management Specialist, Languages Team

About the role

As a Project Management Specialist on Agoda’s Languages Team, you will lead complex localization initiatives that ensure the company’s products, campaigns, and customer experiences are culturally relevant and seamless for users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end localization projects, from planning and estimation to execution, quality control, delivery and post‑project follow‑up.
• Coordinate time‑sensitive workstreams across more than 40 languages and multiple content types to meet product releases, marketing launches and business‑critical deadlines.
• Partner with product owners, engineers, marketing, legal, customer support, business leaders and language experts to clarify requirements and deliver high‑quality results.
• Manage external language vendors and partners, overseeing assignments, timelines, capacity, performance, delivery tracking, issue resolution and budget monitoring.
• Leverage AI‑powered translation and project‑management tools to automate processes, reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
• Identify risks, resolve dependencies, develop contingency plans and keep stakeholders informed through accurate project documentation.
• Maintain quality standards while working at speed, applying localization best practices and coordinating reviews.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a passion for coordinating across functions and cultures.
• Experience managing large‑scale localization projects involving many languages.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate risks, remove bottlenecks and drive projects to successful completion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI translation tools.
• Experience using project‑management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
