Project Manager – Abu Dhabi (Fabrication Yard/Offshore)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead specific project scopes or sub‑packages at our Abu Dhabi fabrication yard and offshore sites. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager/Project Director, the role is responsible for delivering on schedule, cost, quality and HSE standards while coordinating engineering, procurement and construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned project scope, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications and approved procedures.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables, resolve technical queries and support constructability and design optimisation.
• Monitor procurement of long‑lead items, expedite vendor deliveries and track inspections.
• Supervise fabrication and construction activities on‑site and offshore, managing productivity, progress and work quality.
• Support load‑out, transportation, offshore installation and commissioning activities.
• Track progress against Level 3/4 schedules, identify delays and develop recovery plans.
• Monitor cost elements, compare budget versus actual and propose productivity improvements.
• Manage interfaces between engineering, procurement and construction teams, resolving cross‑package issues.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards, permit‑to‑work systems and promote safe work practices.
• Oversee quality assurance procedures, inspections, testing and closure of non‑conformances.
• Identify and escalate risks, support mitigation and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage and deliver project scopes in fabrication or offshore environments.
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Strong understanding of schedule control, cost monitoring and HSE compliance.
• Capability to supervise on‑site and offshore installation activities.
• Effective communication skills for interface management and risk escalation.
