Project Manager – Buildings & Roads

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Buildings & Roads infrastructure projects from tendering through execution, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, cost and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, specifications and drawings; lead preparation of technical proposals, methodologies and execution strategies.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement and commercial teams to develop BOQ/MTO and cost estimates, identify risks and propose mitigation.
• Lead project kick‑off, manage multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation) and oversee engineering deliverables, procurement and construction progress.
• Monitor project budget, schedule and resources; manage RFIs, variations, change orders and ensure HSE compliance and quality assurance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders, support commissioning, testing and project close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 + years experience as a Project Manager on infrastructure (building and road) projects.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the infrastructure project lifecycle (buildings, roads, utilities, substations, pipelines).
• Expertise in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and technical submittals.
• Proficiency in BOQ/MTO preparation and cost estimation.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract types and project controls.
• Ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple disciplines.
