Project Manager - Cybersecurity

About the role

ECS, Enterprise Change Specialists, is hiring a Project Manager for a cybersecurity initiative in Dubai. The role covers planning and execution of the project, risk management, coordination with IT teams and vendors, and reporting on project progress and security improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Identify, assess, report on and proactively manage project risks.
• Collaborate with multiple IT teams, communicate updates, risks and issues to executive stakeholders.
• Take part in evaluating and selecting products from vendors, and manage implementation with the vendor team under strict governance and controls.
• Maintain detailed documentation (plans, risk assessments, test results, final reports) and produce metrics and dashboards measuring project success and security posture improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field; a master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 5-8 years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity or information risk management.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Understanding of network and application security, cloud environments (primarily AWS), WAF, CDN and bot management.
