Project Manager – Design & Construction (Coastal & Offshore)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead design and construction initiatives across the Middle East and North Africa. The role focuses on coastal engineering and offshore island/causeway projects while also covering office, laboratory, manufacturing, warehouse and service‑center infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, location, results, timeline, budget, funding sources and regulatory requirements in consultation with Real Estate Services and business units.
• Initiate value‑engineering and design optimisation to maximise space utilisation and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and obtain approvals for project plans, specifications, schedules and budgets.
• Plan, execute and monitor project schedules, making mid‑course adjustments as needed.
• Track project budgets, process contractor payments and seek approval for change orders.
• Evaluate and select construction methods, ensuring compliance with building, fire, health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage consultants and contractors to deliver project activities on time and to quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Project Management or Construction Management (essential).
• PMI registration or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Degrees in Architecture, Quantity Surveying or Engineering accepted with relevant project‑management experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a project‑management consultancy or construction firm.
• Experience delivering Liquid Mud Plants or similar storage‑tank and pipe‑work projects is highly beneficial.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and capable of working independently.
