Project Manager

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex industrial automation projects from initiation through delivery. The role involves coordinating technical, commercial and resource aspects to ensure project success and alignment with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer contracts, technical specifications and standards, and manage the full project lifecycle including integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality and resources.
• Prepare and monitor project forecasts, schedules, progress reports, billing, and contract claims; report daily to the Engineering Division Manager or Project Director.
• Guide lead engineers on technical issues, review purchase orders, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and manage change orders, waivers and concessions.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost‑control systems, risk registers and resource allocation plans; ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Instrumentation, Electronics or Electrical).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management and execution within industrial or automation environments.
• Awareness of ISO 9001 quality management system; PMP training or certification is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with project progress reporting, presentation and multi‑project coordination.
• Familiarity with project and system design engineering packages and related software.
