Project Manager – Large‑Scale DBOOM/DBO/EPC Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle delivery of large‑scale DBOOM, DBO and EPC projects for a major oil and gas operator in the UAE. The role requires safe, on‑time and on‑budget execution in line with ADNOC standards, VAP/GVAP requirements, HSE policies and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery from concept and FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Develop project execution strategies and governance frameworks aligned with ADNOC VAP/GVAP.
• Manage tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, award, variations, claims and change orders.
• Direct construction, fabrication, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up while leading PMT/IPMT and site supervision teams.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management and EAC reviews, reporting progress to senior management.
• Engage with ADNOC, JV partners, consultants, authorities and contractors to secure regulatory approvals.
• Enforce ADNOC HSE and QA/QC requirements and lead incident investigations and audits.
• Mentor UAE nationals to support Emiratization objectives.

Required profile

• 20‑25 years of project management experience in DBOOM, DBO or EPC within oil and gas.
• Proven delivery of large‑scale onshore/offshore projects for ADNOC or other major operators.
• ADNOC approval or prior ADNOC project execution experience (VAP/GVAP, ADNOC standards).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
