Project Director – Infrastructure

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead large‑scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure successful delivery of government and commercial building programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large‑scale government and commercial building projects.
• Manage interdisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Serve as primary company representative to clients, government agencies, tenants and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, execution plans and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities across design, engineering, construction, facilities and operations teams while minimizing disruption to occupied facilities.
• Oversee scope, quality, health & safety, risk and compliance requirements.
• Monitor progress, milestones, costs and deliverables, and resolve risks, delays and cost overruns.
• Negotiate scope changes, maintain accurate change orders and documentation, and lead regular status meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, civil engineering or a related technical/business field.
• Minimum 18 years of engineering or project management experience on large‑scale programmes.
• Broad technical and business knowledge with strong understanding of project delivery principles.
• Professional registration or licensure may be required.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience interfacing with clients, stakeholders and senior management.
