Project Manager – Lead Consultancy & Design Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale, complex design projects as the Lead Consultant. The role involves overseeing multidisciplinary teams delivering interior design and related disciplines from brief through design, approvals, tender and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership of major Lead Consultant commissions, establishing delivery strategy, programme and communication structure.
• Coordinate and manage the wider consultant team (architecture, AOR, MEP, structural, lighting, façade, landscape, signage, etc.) ensuring clear responsibilities and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate risks, scope gaps and interface issues, driving projects against agreed milestones and client expectations.
• Chair client, consultant and contractor meetings, act as senior point of contact and build long‑term client relationships.
• Support commercial management, variations and scope changes while maintaining awareness of contractual position.

Required profile

• Proven senior project leadership in a Lead Consultancy or multidisciplinary design environment.
• Strong technical credibility with ability to challenge consultants and make decisive decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable with senior clients and contractors.
• Calm under pressure, solution‑focused and able to balance detail with the bigger picture.
