About the role
We are constantly growing and are looking for a reliable Project Manager to join our top‑qualified Project Management team for a prospective MENA project, most likely in the UAE. Reporting to the Marine & Infrastructure Division’s Operations Manager, you will be accountable for budgetary and people management, maintaining an agile work environment and ensuring the project meets cost, time and performance expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Apply contemporary project‑management practices to deliver projects from inception through completion, complying with client expectations and contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment corporate policies, local laws and regulations.
- Manage contracts, commercial and risk aspects, forecast costs and revenue, and take corrective actions to achieve timely delivery within budget.
- Establish and implement an effective risk‑management plan.
- Maintain effective client relationships to meet customer expectations.
- Resolve project issues and refer critical or strategic matters to the Operations Manager.
- Develop project plans ensuring sufficient resources and materials, coordinating with the wider organization as needed.
- Authorize construction planning, programming and completion schedules.
- Engage and manage subcontractors, overseeing their work and major variations.
- Lead engineering, procurement and construction teams to achieve project objectives.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- At least ten years of project‑management experience on large‑scale marine and infrastructure projects with a Tier 1 contractor, including two successfully delivered EPC marine quay‑wall projects.
- Experience with complex marine, infrastructure or industrial projects valued over USD 150 million (e.g., ports, jetties, breakwaters, quay walls, bridges).
- Financial literacy with proven capability in contract management and budget preparation.
- Track record of on‑time, on‑budget delivery and subcontractor management focused on contractual requirements.
- Ability to develop and administer detailed project execution and construction programmes.
- Commitment to QHSE standards and knowledge of marine construction QHSE requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent command of English.
- High mobility and willingness to relocate and travel across international project locations.
