Project Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Project Manager will oversee the development and implementation of major multi‑disciplinary engineering projects for new plants, facilities and modifications to existing assets. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in line with shareholder guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary engineering projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, cost and schedule targets.
• Manage procurement, contract tendering and supervision of multinational contractors, overseeing site supervision and project administration.
• Develop and approve work programmes, terms of reference, project standards and procedures, and monitor budget, cost control and financial forecasts.
• Prepare weekly highlights and monthly progress reports covering engineering, procurement and construction activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of project engineering/execution experience in oil & gas, including at least 5 years leading multi‑disciplinary teams and consultants.
• Professional project management certification (PMP) and strong knowledge of contracts, planning and cost control.
