Project Manager – Power & Automation Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead complex power and automation projects from order confirmation through to final delivery, ensuring on‑time completion, customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor end‑to‑end Switchgear & RTU projects, developing detailed schedules, resource plans and risk mitigation actions.
• Serve as primary contact for key customers and internal stakeholders, conducting regular reviews, managing payments and aligning expectations.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), coordinate engineering, procurement and production teams, and manage change orders and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, finance and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and timely documentation, invoicing and closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• 5–10 years of project management experience in electrical distribution or industrial equipment.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and communication skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera for scheduling.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
• Knowledge of power and automation systems, electrical distribution networks and BOM structures.
