Project Manager – Technical Lead

About the role

Syspos is a UAE‑based cloud POS and payments platform serving food & beverage, retail and hospitality merchants. The Project Manager – Technical Lead will own client deployments and integration projects from start to finish while leading the technical implementation team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the technical implementation team, set direction, review work and resolve escalated issues.
• Run multiple client projects simultaneously, covering scoping, solution design, go‑live and handover.
• Design technical solutions for client requirements, including system setup, data migration and integrations.
• Own integration projects with payment providers, delivery aggregators, ERP/accounting systems and hardware vendors.
• Collaborate with the development team on client‑specific features, APIs and bug resolution.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks and status reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct UAT, sign off go‑lives and create documentation and standards for future rollouts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical project delivery experience, with at least 2 years leading a technical team.
• Strong hands‑on background in APIs, integrations, cloud systems, databases and POS hardware/networking.
• Experience in POS, payments, SaaS or hospitality/retail technology.
• Ability to dive deep into technical problems while managing client expectations and timelines.
• Familiarity with project tools such as Jira, ClickUp or similar.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred; Arabic and English language skills a plus.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
