Project Manager - Traffic Department Projects

About the role

A client in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage Traffic Department projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in planning, executing and delivering traffic or intelligent transportation system (ITS) projects, meeting client requirements, quality standards, budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to handover.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise project execution to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and government authorities.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, risks and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Prepare project reports and update stakeholders regularly.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and resolve issues with corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing Traffic Department, Traffic Systems or ITS projects in the UAE.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
