Project/Site Engineer (MEP)

About the role

The Project/Site Engineer (MEP) will lead daily mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities on construction sites, ensuring all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations. This role coordinates closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high‑quality MEP installations on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily MEP activities, reviewing construction drawings for discrepancies.
• Prepare and track project schedules, resource plans, and procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and prepare snag lists for rectification.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive site records, daily and progress reports, RFIs, material submittals, and method statements.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑fighting, and ELV systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising MEP works on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of local authority regulations and contract requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage documentation.
